Unotopic is a Guatemalan/Canadian reggaeton artist whose charting collaborations with artists such as Bad Bunny, Daddy Yankee, Anuel AA, and Karol G resulted in him scoring his own recording contract. Born in Edmonton, Canada in 2001, Unotopic was far more interested in soccer than music as a young teen, but he caught the bug at 18. A year later, he was creating freestyle raps and uploading them to his Facebook and SoundCloud pages. Several of his audio clips went viral and caught the attention of Gunna and Drake, who signed him to a production deal on their Record Label – OVO. Throughout 2020, he seldom left the studio except for the occasional live appearance. By the spring of 2021, he was all over the charts on his own and as a collaborator.
The evolution in Uno has taken leaps from his first imprint on the music scene to its current state. He’s made the right connections and tracked high numbers to prove his choices right. He has been consistent in his goals releasing single after single, making sure to keep momentum in today’s digital music trends. Leading up to his album this year, Uno was also part of a few smash hits, including “La Nota,” featuring Manuel Turizo and Te Deseo“ featuring Daddy Yankee. ”As both records continue to enjoy worldwide success, that didn’t stop Uno from setting the groundwork for the next phase of his career.
As we reach each of the years, Uno has claimed his success with flying colors. He dropped a fresh new album, “EL NINO,” and its completion added even more weight to his name. He raised the standard for a Reggaeton album with slick high production value and top-notch collaborations, including Tainy, Farruko, Karol G and more. The vibe is sexy; the vibe is groovy and meant to move your body just like he does. The album’s current single, “Toda L a Noche,” is already a hit, and more are set to be released in the upcoming weeks.
