Angelina Jolie and her daughter, Vivienne Jolie-Pitt, stepped into the limelight for a dazzling opening night celebration on Thursday. The duo graced the red carpet at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre in New York City for the premiere of their Broadway production, The Outsiders. As producers of the stage adaptation of the beloved 1983 film, Angelina and Vivienne beamed with pride as they posed for photos before the performance.

Angelina, 48, exuded elegance in a stunning golden dress complemented by an ochre cape that accentuated her blonde locks and emphasized her bold red lipstick.

The reimagined version of The Outsiders, based on S. E. Hinton’s 1967 novel and the 1983 film, is set in 1967 Tulsa, Oklahoma. The story follows Ponyboy Curtis, his best friend Johnny Cade, and their Greaser family as they navigate conflicts with their affluent rivals, the Socs. This exciting new Broadway musical explores themes of self-discovery as the Greasers dream of a place in a world that may never fully embrace them.

Angelina’s involvement in the production was revealed last year, inspired by a visit to the La Jolla Playhouse with Vivienne. The mother of six, who shares her children with ex-husband Brad Pitt, including Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and Knox, has been in a legal battle with Pitt since their 2016 split. Their legal teams have been embroiled in disputes ranging from custody arrangements to disagreements over their French winery, Château Miraval.
