Recorded predominantly in her home studio, “Fall Apart” showcases pure xtc’s artistic evolution, with live drums recorded in Baltimore at Studio 14. Co-produced by Bryan Czap and mixed by Walter Kazmier, with mastering by Mike Piacentini, the track is a testament to pure xtc’s commitment to her craft and her ability to craft immersive sonic experiences.

In a statement about the song, pure xtc shared, “Last September, I was feeling extremely down. I hadn’t toured as much as I had planned. I felt like I wasn’t doing enough, and I was financially struggling. Being present amidst all of this felt like a Herculean task.”

She continued, “During that time, I was hanging out with a friend who was also navigating the challenges of being a young adult post-pandemic. We had a venting session, and when I asked about her weekend plans, she replied, ‘I’m just gonna rot in my apartment.’ That hit me hard, I quickly jotted that line down in my notes app.”

“Fall Apart” is a poignant reflection of pure xtc’s personal journey and a testament to her resilience. With its captivating melodies and thought-provoking lyrics, the song is sure to resonate with listeners on a profound level.
