Beyoncé’s latest album, “Cowboy Carter,” is making waves across genres with an impressive list of collaborations. One of the standout collaborators on the album is music legend Stevie Wonder.

The collaboration was celebrated at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, where Beyoncé received the Innovator Award. Wonder, a 25-time Grammy winner, presented her with the award, praising her for her impact on music and culture. He described her as someone who is not only changing music but also changing the world, fighting the good fight.

In her acceptance speech, Beyoncé expressed her gratitude to Wonder for paving the way for artists like herself. She also thanked him for playing the harmonica on her track “Jolene.” Beyoncé reflected on the challenges of being an innovator, highlighting the importance of perseverance and faith in the face of criticism.

During her speech, Beyoncé called for greater openness in the music industry, urging labels, radio stations, and award shows to embrace art without preconceived notions. She paid tribute to black artists who have made significant contributions to music, including Rosetta Tharpe, Linda Martell, Tina Turner, Michael Jackson, and Stevie Wonder.

Beyoncé also took a moment to acknowledge her family, including her husband, Jay-Z, and their three children. “Cowboy Carter,” Beyoncé’s country music-inspired album, features a range of guest singers and surprise collaborators, including Willie Nelson, Dolly Parton, Miley Cyrus, and Post Malone.

The album, which dropped on Friday, features tracks like “Texas Hold ‘Em,” “16 Carriages,” “Bodyguard,” and “Oh Louisiana.” Beyoncé has described the album as a response to her 2016 CMA performance with the Chicks, which she felt was poorly received. “Cowboy Carter” is Beyoncé’s eighth studio album and follows her 2022 release, “Act I: Renaissance.”
