Comedic genius Kristen Wiig made a triumphant return to “Saturday Night Live” last night, marking her fifth time hosting the iconic show. Wiig, 50, was welcomed with open arms by the audience, officially inducting her into the prestigious “Five-Timers Club.”

“I am so happy to be back, and I am so excited because it is my fifth time hosting, so I am officially in the five-timers club,” Wiig exclaimed, basking in the applause.

The “SNL” alumna took a moment to reflect on the significance of the club, sharing, “So I have to say as a former cast member, it is very special being a five-timer.” However, her celebration was quickly interrupted by the hilarious Paul Rudd, who tried to sneak his way into the sketch where Wiig receives her five-timers jacket, only to be gently turned down.

Not to be outdone, former “SNL” writer Paula Pell chimed in, joking, “They basically hand those out to everybody like free maxi pads.” The laughter continued as more surprise guests appeared, including Matt Damon, who sported a five-timers jacket despite having hosted only twice. Damon’s math, however, wasn’t matching. “Lorne said the first time I hosted was so good it counted for three,” Damon quipped “and then the second time, not quite as good, so it only counted for two. But by my math, it made five, baby.”

The star-studded affair took a humorous turn when several other hosts, including Jon Hamm, Fred Armisen, Will Forte, and Martin Short, also wore five-timers jackets despite not actually hitting the milestone.

Confusion and hilarity ensued as Wiig questioned the legitimacy of the club, only to be reassured by Damon that she was the youngest member and the first female to join. Despite the lighthearted banter, the evening was filled with warmth and camaraderie as the group of comedians and actors came together to celebrate Wiig’s milestone.

Wiig’s appearance on “SNL” comes on the heels of her reprisal of the iconic Target Lady character to promote Target Circle week. With her comedic timing and infectious energy, Wiig once again proved why she is a beloved figure in the world of comedy.

As the night came to a close, the entire “SNL” cast and guests donned five-timers jackets, a humorous nod to the club’s evolving membership. Wiig’s induction into the “Five-Timers Club” was a night to remember, showcasing her comedic prowess and undeniable charm.

Wiig’s return to “SNL” was a star-studded affair, with guest appearances from Paul Rudd, Paula Pell, Matt Damon, Jon Hamm, Fred Armisen, Will Forte, Martin Short, and Ryan Gosling. Despite the confusion over the five-timers club, Wiig’s milestone was celebrated with humor and warmth, making for a memorable evening.
