Saint Johns, Florida-based Brian Iannucci (pronounced eye-ah-NEW-chee) is a singer/songwriter with an eclectic musical background. Brian combines aspects of country, pop, and blues to produce a unique sound. As a pianist, he imbues his music with a distinctive touch, bringing a fresh and innovative feel to the country genre. Iannucci’s recent album, “Double Felony,” is a collection of 24 tracks of amazing country music.
The album’s first single, “Pour One Out,” is a prime example of Iannucci’s modern take on country music. The lyrics tell an interesting story and the hook stayed in my mind for days after one listen. The album’s second single, “Red, White, and Blue,” is a powerful tune showcasing Iannucci’s ability to craft music that is both emotionally and politically charged. Iannucci’s journey to success in the music industry is an interesting one. Despite having a passion for music from a young age and being a highly skilled pianist and vocalist, he did not pursue a career in music until later in life. I, for one, am glad that the music bug bit Brian. His songs are as strong as anything on today’s country radio stations. Consider me a fan!
