Dany Horovitz set to release “Seasons Change” November 19th, another single ahead of his highly anticipated debut album, “Free Times.”

Free Times has been years in the making, a debut album that feels more like a greatest hits compilation. It is a carefully curated collection of stories about love, loss, and life, drawing inspiration from poets, philosophers, and personal experiences.

Horovitz is a talented singer-songwriter whose sights are set on resurrecting that old school rock n’ roll sound, and reforming it for the modern era and stylizing it to his liking. Born in Montreal, raised in Newmarket, and currently living in Toronto, Dany’s music is infused with modern takes on familiar melodies, with melodic guitar and piano chords, popping bass licks, and toe-tapping percussion. His lyrics are stories of love, loss, and life, drawing inspiration from ancient poets, modern philosophers, and personal experiences. But don’t be mistaken, his music is neither academic nor pedantic: first and foremost, Dany writes songs to be enjoyed.

Horovitz has a gift for infusing modern takes on familiar melodies, he lists his main influences as an all-Canadian, intriguing combo of urban poets Leonard Cohen, Blue Rodeo’s Jim Cuddy and Greg Keelor and Bryan Adams, along with rural daydreamers Gordon Lightfoot and Stan Rogers. Dany’s lyrics are stories of love, loss and life, drawing inspiration from ancient poets, modern philosophers and personal experiences.

Keep up with Dany on social media and download “Seasons Change” available everywhere on November 19th!
