The Spice Girls have a spicy secret brewing for their 30th anniversary, but one member just can’t keep it under wraps. Melanie Brown, famously known as Scary Spice, revealed on Britain’s “This Morning” that she’s been booted from the group’s exclusive WhatsApp chat for spilling the beans about a potential reunion tour.

During a chat with ITV presenter Alison Hammond, Brown, 48, confessed, “I heard you got kicked out of the WhatsApp group?” to which she responded with a laugh, “That always happens to me because I say things.”

Brown continued, “You know, I get so excited when it comes to Spice Girls, because it is 30 years. And, you know, we’ve got a lot to celebrate — the fact that we’re all still healthy and living life and all talking still.”

Despite her excitement, Brown knows she needs to zip it to stay in the chat. “It’s nice, so I can’t say anything else to get myself kicked out!” she admitted.

The Spice Girls, originally formed in 1994, comprised Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice), Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice), Melanie Chisholm (Sporty Spice), Emma Bunton (Baby Spice), and Brown (Scary Spice). With chart-topping hits like “Wannabe” and “Spice Up Your Life,” they became a global phenomenon, selling over 100 million albums before disbanding in 2000.

Despite their split, the group briefly reunited in 2007 for a tour and again in 2012 for a performance at the London Olympics. Now, for their 30th anniversary, fans are eagerly anticipating another reunion.

“We are wanting to do something, and we are, but I can’t really tell you because I’ll get kicked out of the WhatsApp group again,” Brown teased on “The Jonathan Ross Show” recently. “I have to be really careful. We’re definitely doing something. I’m probably going to get told off! I’m in trouble now.”

However, Beckham, 49, seems to have put a damper on the tour rumors. “We do have a group chat. I do speak to all the girls,” the fashion designer revealed in a Radio France interview. “It would be lovely for us to do something to celebrate — a dinner or a lunch — and reminisce, but, yes, it will not be any more than that.”

Beckham clarified that she has no interest in returning to the stage and is focusing on her fashion and beauty endeavors. “I’m so proud of what I achieved with the Spice Girls that now, for me, it’s about empowering people through fashion and beauty,” she explained. “There have been lots of rumors about tours and performances, but that will not happen. But I’d love to celebrate with the girls in another way, just me and them.”

Meanwhile, Brown is keeping busy promoting her memoir, “Brutally Honest,” as fans eagerly await news of what the Spice Girls have in store for their milestone anniversary.
