Former Beatle, Ringo Starr, was scheduled Saturday night at the Four Winds Casino in New Buffalo, Michigan when he announced that he would not be able to perform due to illness.

In a statement shared by the venue, Ringo’s team said that the singer could not go on because his voice was being affected by illness, however, they did confirm that it was not COVID.

The casino posted the announcement on their Facebook, saying “Ringo is sick and was hoping he could carry on, hence the late decision, but it has affected his voice so tonight’s show, scheduled to begin in a few hours is canceled.”

Starr went on to postpone Sunday night’s show at the Mystic Lake Casino Hotel in Minnesota as well. While a new date has yet to be announced, the original tickets will be able to be used when it is rescheduled.
