NSYNC Reunites For The First Time In 10 Years At 2023 VMAs

Must Read

After a whole decade of radio silence, NSYNC members Justin, JC, Joey, Lance, and Chris made a killer comeback at the 2023 VMAs. It was on the same electrifying stage where they last rocked our world. *NSYNC set the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards stage on fire last night, September 12th, at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. The vibe was unreal as Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone, Lance Bass, and Chris Kirkpatrick joined forces again, marking a historic moment since their unforgettable 2013 MTV Video Music Awards performance.

Joey Fatone couldn’t help but shout out to the crowd, “Yo, MTV, and all you amazing peeps out there, we gotta give mad love and thanks for having our backs all these years. Your unwavering support for your favorite music icons means the world!” The crowd went wild as *NSYNC had the privilege of presenting the Best Pop award to none other than the unstoppable Taylor Swift for her mind-blowing music video, “Anti-Hero.” Onstage, Justin Timberlake couldn’t help but shower Taylor with praise, recognizing her incredible talent.

Taylor Swift, totally shook by the on-stage reunion, accepted the VMAs with open arms, giving each of the five *NSYNC legends a bear hug. She even scored a coveted friendship bracelet from Lance Bass. Overwhelmed by the moment, she spilled the beans, “Back in the day, I used to rock your action figures! You dudes are the epitome of pop, so receiving this award from you pop royalty is off the charts!”

Rewind to August 2013, and it was Timberlake himself who snagged the Video Vanguard Award at the MTV VMAs. He delivered an epic performance, dishing out a 12-song medley, including classics like “Bye Bye Bye” and “Girlfriend,” jamming alongside his *NSYNC buddies. Since then, these icons came together in 2018 to claim a star on the illustrious Hollywood Walk of Fame. And who could forget 2019 when the squad (minus Timberlake) pulled off a surprise gig during Ariana Grande’s epic Coachella set?

*NSYNC, the legends behind chart-toppers like “Bye Bye Bye,” “It’s Gonna Be Me,” “Girlfriend,” and “I Want You Back,” haven’t dropped a full album since their Billboard 200-conquering “Celebrity” in 2001. Rumor has it they’ve been cooking up some fresh tunes for the “Trolls Band Together” project, with Timberlake reprising his role in the animated flick. But word on the street is the upcoming film got low-key promotion during the telecast due to ongoing SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes. S
