Marlon Wayans has officially confirmed that a sequel to the 2004 comedy “White Chicks” is in development. In a recent interview with Good Morning America at the NAACP Image Awards 2025, where The Wayans Family was inducted into the Hall of Fame, Wayans talked about how many fans ask him about the movie saying, “I think it’s time. Let’s get ‘Scary Movie 6’ done, then we’re gonna go bring out the ‘White Chicks 2’.”
“White Chicks” follows two FBI agents, portrayed by Wayans and his brother Shawn, who go undercover as white women to protect hotel heiresses from a kidnapping plot. Despite receiving negative reviews upon its release, the film has gained a cult following over the years.
The upcoming sequel is expected to follow the original’s comedic premise, with Wayans and his brother Shawn reprising their roles. Fans can look forward to the return of the beloved characters and the humor that made the original a cult classic.
While an official release date for “White Chicks 2” has not been announced, the film is currently in development, and fans can anticipate more updates in the near future.
