Kevin Costner and Christine Baumgartner’s marriage has officially ended.
According to a recently obtained legal document, the Notice of Entry of Judgement for the dissolution of their marriage was filed on Tuesday, Feb. 20. The judgment itself was entered on Friday, Feb. 16, marking the day the couple was legally separated.
Last week, the pair signed a Marital Settlement Agreement, concluding their lengthy divorce proceedings. As part of the agreement, they are no longer required to complete the Parent Education and Co-Parenting Effectively “P.E.A.C.E.” class.
The settlement resolves custody issues for their three teenage children, Cayden, Hayes, and Grace. The agreement allows for the possibility of court-mandated classes in the future if custody disputes arise.
This divorce update follows a settlement reached five months ago. A representative for Costner stated at the time that the couple had amicably resolved all issues related to their divorce.
The Yellowstone actor and Baumgartner began their divorce process in May, after 18 years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences. Baumgartner’s filing listed April 11 as the separation date.
Following the filing, Costner sought joint custody of their children and cited a prenuptial agreement, which became a significant point of contention during the proceedings.
In late August and early September, court hearings determined Costner’s monthly child support payments, which were ultimately reduced from $128,000 to $63,209.
Both Costner and Baumgartner have reportedly moved on since their divorce. Costner has been linked to singer Jewel, while Baumgartner is said to be dating financier Josh Connor, their former neighbor.
