On the heels of making history this weekend by being the first living solo rapper inducted into the Rock N’ Roll Hall Of Fame, Jay-Z created an Instagram account that lasted only one day.
In the 24 hours that the account was active, the rapper accrued over two million followers. The mogul shared only one post and one story, both promos for the upcoming Western The Harder They Fall, which premiered on Netflix on Wednesday.
During the short stint on Instgram, his wife Beyoncé (who follows no one) did followed his account and shared a photo of the two of them posing for Tiffany and Co.
While it is unknown why the Tidal founder decided so quickly to leave the platform now owned by “Meta“, we can’t really blame him.
