In a surprise revelation at Variety's Hitmakers event, Billie Eilish confirmed what some fans might have suspected: she's attracted...

Chicago-based, folk singer Iris Marlowe released the second single from her upcoming album Friday. The artist describes the song as featuring “heartbreak, guitar, harmonica, banjo, and a long-lost love. What more could a heartbroken cowboy need?”

Western-inpsired with haunting vocals, “Cowboy Chords” starts with moody string plucks on the banjo and the classic whistle of westerns of the past. The melancholy story continues softly, soaking in your bones, reminding you of your own heartbreaks.

This single is a noteworthy release for Marlowe, who longs to make music you can “get lost in the moment to.”
