The start-up “Democharts” is bringing a new twist to the music world. Their exclusive networking platform allows up-and-coming artists to easily connect with music experts from around the globe.
The concept is simple: Upload a one-minute demo of your song and get noticed by labels, scouts, and other industry professionals. Only verified artists can connect with verified experts. This allows direct feedback and makes it easy and fun to discover new talents.
Julian Propst, founder of Democharts: “The idea for Democharts was born, when I was searching for reliable contacts in the music industry with my band. We rarely got any feedback from the industry. With Democharts we want to support new musicians and make it possible for them to prove their talent in an efficient, easy and fun way. We will provide the platform that will help the industry grow and make dreams come true.”
There are currently more than 350 new sign-ups each week and over 250 verified labels, scouts and experts already on the platform.
Young artists worldwide can apply to Democharts and upload their own songs. Since the company is still in the Early Bird phase, three uploads are free for all musicians who are approved by our scouts. The songs will be rated by industry experts from all around the world. The best charting artists will be able to win amazing prizes, media coverage, and more.
