Country sensation Hardyhas made a heartfelt decision to cancel several shows due to an ongoing struggle with anxiety.

Currently in the midst of a nationwide tour promoting his critically acclaimed album, “The Mockingbird & The Crow,” Hardy has been confronted with a formidable opponent – “serious anxiety,” stemming from a life-altering tour bus accident that transpired in 2022.

In a touching and sincere message shared on his social media platforms, Hardy bravely opened up about his ongoing battle with anxiety, tracing it back to the traumatic bus accident that unfolded last year. Over the course of the last two weeks, anxiety has insidiously crept into every facet of his life, leading to debilitating panic attacks that necessitated hospitalization. In a poignant statement, Hardy revealed his need for a respite, not just for himself, but also to better support his beloved wife, cherished family, and his unwavering legion of fans.

Regrettably, this necessary step towards self-care has resulted in the postponement and cancellation of three upcoming shows on Hardy’s tour itinerary. These affected performances were originally slated for this Thursday in Simpsonville, South Carolina, an eagerly anticipated date on October 6 at the Georgia Rodeo in Athens, Georgia, and a performance on October 7 at the Brandon Amphitheater in Brandon, Mississippi. For those who held tickets to the canceled South Carolina and Mississippi shows, rest assured that refunds will be promptly provided. Furthermore, fans of Hardy in Georgia will have their patience rewarded, as the Georgia Rodeo appearance has been rescheduled for April 12, 2024, with previously purchased tickets remaining valid.

Hardy’s determination to prioritize his mental well-being is unwavering, and he has set his sights on resuming his tour on Thursday, October 12, in Jonesboro, Arkansas. In a message filled with gratitude, he expressed his profound appreciation for the understanding and unwavering support of his loyal fan base during this tumultuous chapter in his life, assuring them that he will soon be back, ready to deliver an electrifying performance that showcases his indomitable spirit.

The harrowing bus accident that catalyzed Hardy’s battle with anxiety occurred on I-40 West near Nashville last October, following an exhilarating performance at the Bristol Motor Speedway in Bristol, Tennessee. Hardy was one of four individuals onboard the bus when it tragically overturned, forever changing the trajectory of his life and career.
