Grammy-Award winning rock band Greta Van Fleet has just released their latest song, ‘Farewell For Now,’ and fans are in for a treat. The band recently revealed a captivating live performance video of the track, filmed during their Sacramento show on the Dreams in Gold Tour in March 2023.

The song carries a poignant message, as expressed by bassist Sam Kiszka: “On ‘Farewell For Now,’ we express the sentiment of our longing to stay on stage and savor the magic created by the audience-music phenomena. But we must pack up and go to the next place to do it all over again; as always, we’ll be back soon.”

‘Farewell For Now’ is just a taste of what’s to come from Greta Van Fleet’s highly anticipated third studio album, Starcatcher, set to be released on July 21st through Lava/Republic/EMI Records. Fans have been eagerly awaiting this album, and the band continues to build excitement with each new release.

To coincide with the album release, Greta Van Fleet will embark on their Starcatcher World Tour, starting on July 24th in Nashville. Produced by Live Nation, this tour promises to be a spectacular event, with the band performing at iconic venues such as Madison Square Garden in New York, The Forum in Los Angeles, and London’s OVO Wembley Arena, among others. The complete list of tour dates can be found below. Joining Greta Van Fleet on this journey will be special guests Kaleo, Surf Curse, Black Honey, and, for the UK and Ireland shows, Mt. Joy.

Starcatcher showcases Greta Van Fleet’s exceptional songwriting and musicianship. The album is entirely written and recorded by the band members themselves—lead singer Josh Kiszka, guitarist Jake Kiszka, bassist/keyboardist Sam Kiszka, and drummer Danny Wagner. Working alongside Grammy-winning producer Dave Cobb (known for his work with Chris Stapleton and Brandi Carlile), the band recorded the album at the legendary RCA Studios in Nashville. By utilizing the large recording room, Greta Van Fleet captured the pure energy and essence of their electrifying live performances.

Fans can expect Starcatcher to be a testament to the band’s growth and evolution while staying true to their signature rock sound. Greta Van Fleet continues to captivate audiences worldwide with their timeless style and undeniable talent. With their upcoming album and world tour, they are poised to reach new heights and leave an indelible mark on the music industry.
