Reuniting everyone’s favorite gals, RuPaul’s Drag Race alum and multi-talented queen Ginger Minj is back with a brand new, parody show paying homage to The Golden Girls. Coming off the success of another original show, The Broads’ Way, that played to audiences in LA, NYC and Chicago, Ginger will once again highlight her writing prowess with an all-new show that expands from the award-winning Golden Gals Live! show that played across the country last year. Tickets to all shows are available now at GoldenGalsLive.com.
Ginger will be pulling double duty with Golden Gals as she not only reprises her role as Blanche, but the multi-talented entertainer also serves as director. The show also features Gidget Galore as Rose, MR MS Adrien as Sophia and Divine Grace as Dorothy. Fans of the stars and series alike will be in for a nostalgic night of laughs as the tight-knit group of queens come together to pay tribute to the beloved show. Honoring the original show, the Gals were invited to headline the only Golden Girls Convention in the world, GoldenCon, where their performance earned praise from producers, directors, writers and assistants who worked on the original series. The highly recommended show will span six cities starting this spring with more shows to be announced as the Golden Gals continue to win over audiences with hilarious antics and storylines that stand true to the show.
Originally hailing from small-town Leesburg, Florida, Ginger Minj made her first splash on the global stage as a finalist on Season 7 of RuPaul’s Drag Race. As a fan-favorite and triple-threat, she was invited back for Season 2 of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars and was a top 3 finalist of Season 6 of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars. Minj has starred in the Anne Fletcher helmed “Dumplin” for Netflix alongside Jennifer Aniston and Dove Cameron, in the Netflix series “AJ & The Queen,” and most recently in the Disney+ Original Movie, “Hocus Pocus 2.” Minj can be heard on her three studio albums, Sweet T, Gummybear and her newest EP, Double Wide Diva. You can learn more about Ginger in her brand new tell all, memoir/cookbook, Southern Fried Sass.
