Musician, composer and producer, Edalo, hit the ground running with some impressive early-career partnerships that started back in 2012. That year, the multi-talented artist teamed up with Robby Takac (Goo Goo Dolls), Kenny Hawkins (Rick James, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige), and Jerry Livingston (Rick James) to write the track “Mariposa.”
If that wasn’t enough of an introduction to Edalo, he was also enlisted by the estate of the infamous Ray Charles to write and produce a tribute album with Charles’ grandson, Robert Robinson, known as RobTwyce. The project’s single, “You,” was released by All Access Music Group in 2015

Edalo’s first full-length album, Faith, released in 2015, embodies instrumental melodic sounds meant to capture a listener’s heart and soul. This album made it into the iTunes Top Instrumental Music Albums Chart in its release year.
In 2017, Edalo completed his second album, California Rush, his sophomore project with independent label Castle Music Group, the artist development partner of Sensu Music. A project two years in the making, California Rush was produced in its entirety by Edalo himself. California Rush displays Edalo’s growth and prowess as a producer by combining vocals, guitar, saxophone, jam band, and electronic dance elements to present his fresh take on Live Electronic. He debuted this album at the SXSW Music Festival in Austin, TX, performing alongside acts such as Kent Jones, ROZES, Michael Blume, and G.O.O.D. Music’s Malik Yusef.
In 2020, Edalo released his album Driftin’ and completed his first headlining tour. The year after that he completed 10-city tour across the East Coast of America. He’s totaled over 340,000 streams and a quarter-million listeners in 98 countries across the globe.
Edalo’s latest projects include collaborations with EDM treasure, Salvo and Super Bowl Champion, Demone Harris.
We recently sat down with Edalo to get to know a bit more about the man behind the music…
Bridge: Of all of the paths to take, why music?
Edalo: When I was three, I received my first drum set from my dad. I grew up playing music and loved learning different ways to express myself musically. Being a drummer, I realized I had to teach myself other instruments to excel at my craft. As an entrepreneur, I learned that I had to offer help to other artists in need of getting their music done. Music has always been an incredible part of my life.
Bridge: So it’s been all-encompassing for you! – How would you describe your sound to a first time listener?
Edalo: Upbeat, fun, feel-good music. I love all genres. I feel there’s a time and place for all music. I have released instrumentals as well as songs with featured singers so there is an eclectic mix for people to choose from. I create music that has a good message and that makes people wanna dance.
Bridge: I love that! So many artists end up stuck in the box of the genre and miss that there are so many ways to deliver a message in music….So, what would you say inspires you most as an artist?
Edalo: Experiences inspire me the most as an artist. In life, we are always growing and changing. Through those changes, I’m inspired to be the best version of myself that I can be. You never know where life is going to take you but you can control how you feel about it at the end of the day.
Bridge: Gosh, I feel like I needed that wisdom for myself today (laughs)…Can you share with us a big goal or dream that you have for your music?
Edalo: A goal of mine is to set up an international tour. I’ve been fortunate enough to headline shows across the East Coast, but I’d love to set up an international tour to include Canada, Mexico or Europe. That’s my main focus right now and will keep me busy for a while.
Bridge: I can assure you we will be first in line for those tickets! …Earlier, we were talking about the message. What do you feel your message to listeners is as an artist?
Edalo: My message to my listeners is to follow your intuition and always stay true to yourself. Living life can get overwhelming or tough at times but it’s how you react to change that determines where you go. A lot of people tend to project their opinions on others but those who follow their inner guide are set free.
Bridge: Very true, reaction is everything!….Alright we gotta know, what projects do you have going on right now?
Edalo: Americana rocker, Tyler Boone and I have an upcoming single in the works! I’m particularly excited for this one because it’s been years in the making. To combine killer Americana vocals and a groovy, deep house vibe make for a timeless track. Songs that take years in the making are even more memorable for the artists that create them.
Bridge: Tyler Freakin’ Boone, say no more. That song is going straight to the top!…..And the sad end, let our readers know where we can see you live this year…
Edalo: My next headlining tour is scheduled for April 2022. I’ll be announcing specific cities on my socials, so stay tuned there!
