Darro is a name you’re about to hear alot more of.

Hailing from Brooklyn, this rising act delivers a healthy, nostalgic serving of early 2000s emo and pop-punk with a fresh twist that pushes boundaries of the genre with his latest single, “Wanna Say Goodbye”

Check out the exclusive lyric video premiere:

When giving insight to the track, he said, “As a person with high-functioning anxiety, to me this song is about the constant urge to pack up and leave after staying in one place too long. Some people call it a 5-year urge or itch, but for me I just feel like I outgrow the places I’m at, and it’s okay.”

Boasting those Paramore-esque guitar riffs that punk lovers like myself cut our teeth on, “Wanna Say Goodbye,” brings light-hearted sound to a heavy subject. And Darro knows a thing or two about heavy subjects.

“And i’m in pain

like a sickness in brain

but i’ve been putting all these needles inside my veins”
