Nashville’s rising R&B/pop sensation Jenane is set to make waves with her latest single, “Who You Are,” premiering exclusively on BRIDGE.

Known for her powerful vocals and dynamic stage presence, Jenane has rapidly become a fan favorite, amassing a significant following on social media platforms with over 420K followers on Instagram and over 700K followers on TikTok.

Raised in Peachtree City, just 30 minutes from Atlanta, Jenane’s biracial heritage has played a crucial role in shaping her unique sound. “Growing up as a mixed race person, I never quite fit into one box,” she explains. “Every single I have released has shown a vastly different side of me, and I love it that way.”

“Who You Are” is a testament to Jenane’s versatility as an artist, blending soulful piano melodies with the uplifting harmonies of a gospel choir. The song delves into themes of grief and acceptance, reflecting Jenane’s personal journey of coming to terms with the things she cannot change. “Accepting that there are just some things I can’t fix is incredibly freeing,” she shares.

The track’s universal appeal lies in its relatability, as Jenane notes, “It doesn’t have to be about a breakup. It can be about your relationship with a family member, a friend, yourself, or maybe even something like an addiction.” This broad interpretation has resonated with listeners, further solidifying Jenane’s place in the music industry.

In addition to her solo work, Jenane is also a member of the all-female supergroup ElectraQueens, alongside Gabrielle Vaughn and Alyssa Scott. The group has seen immense success, especially on platforms like TikTok, where they have garnered a devoted fanbase. Their recent collaborations with The Bacon Brothers and Kathy Sledge have only added to their growing popularity.

Despite her rising fame, Jenane remains grounded, thanks to the support of her family, friends, and beloved cats. “I am over the moon every time someone recognizes me in public,” she says. “I just feel so grateful to be able to inspire or help someone in any way, and I don’t think that feeling will ever get old.”

As for the future, Jenane is excited to continue exploring different facets of her musical identity. “My solo work is just a little bit more ‘me’ and my personal influences,” she explains. With her talent and passion, there’s no doubt that Jenane will continue to captivate audiences and leave a lasting impact on the music world.
