Nashville, TN – March 2025 – Country music fans visiting Broadway in Nashville now have a new cocktail to try—one with a humorous nod to one of country music’s biggest stars. Chief’s, the bar owned by Eric Church, has introduced a new drink inspired by Morgan Wallen’s now-infamous chair-throwing incident.

Priced at $19, the drink, aptly named The Chair, is served in a red cup and topped with a miniature plastic folding chair, playfully referencing Wallen’s April 2024 arrest for tossing a chair off a rooftop bar. The cocktail itself is a mix of Smirnoff raspberry vodka, raspberry liqueur, lemonade, and a splash of soda—offering a sweet yet bold flavor, much like Wallen’s personality.

Chief’s, which opened in early 2024, has quickly become a hotspot in Nashville, known for its unique drinks and connection to some of country music’s biggest names. With this latest addition to the menu, the bar is capitalizing on a viral moment in Wallen’s career while also showcasing the camaraderie between two of country music’s biggest stars.

Despite the incident that led to the drink’s creation, Wallen and Church remain close friends. Their hit song “Man Made a Bar” continues to dominate country music charts, proving that even a little controversy can’t slow down their success.

As for The Chair, it’s already becoming a must-try for fans looking for a good laugh and a strong drink in Music City. Whether Wallen himself will stop by to try it remains to be seen, but one thing is certain—Chief’s knows how to keep country music fans entertained.
