Dua Lipa has officially been named an Honorary Ambassador to the European country of Kosovo. The “Levitating” singer announced the honor in an Instagram post.
Dua has always been vocal in support of her home country. Although she spent her childhood in London, her family relocated to Pristina, Kosovo in 2008 after the republic declared their independence.
The award was presented to the Grammy Award-winning singer by the President of Kosovo herself. The dignitary captioned one of the photos from the event, saying “Today, I gave the title of Honorary Ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo to Dua Lipa, because she continues to honor our country in every step and every appearance.”
Add this to a long list of accolades awarded to the singer, who has earned her place as a fan favorite for good reason.
