Dua Lipa: Nashville’s Valentine

Must Read

If you think Bridgestone Arena wouldn’t be the ideal place to spend your Valentines evening, you would be wrong.

Throngs of die-hard Dua Lipa fans swarmed Bridgestone Monday night to celebrate the holiday with style, sass, and a whole lot of sequins.

The night kicked off with rising stars, Lolo Zouaï and Caroline Polachek. Polachek performed her hit Tik Tok single, “So Hot You’re Hurting My Feelings,” which was naturally a crowd favorite.

When it came time for the queen to take the stage, the crowd erupted in song with Dua as she performed her hit song, “Physical.”

Neon jumpsuits paired with the eccentric stage settings made for the perfect way to celebrate the day for lovers.

Dua made her entrance first, in a neon yellow jumpsuit, stealing the hearts of all in attendance. Fitting for the royalty that she is, she then transitioned to a white, diamond-encrusted bodysuit.

The show took a sporty turn when Dua and her dancers then came out on roller skates, donned in head to toe Puma. But the extravagance didn’t stop there as Dua began to soar overtop the crowd in a black and sheer, sequined suit.

Performing new songs as well as fan favorites alike, the energy in Bridgestone was consistently electric right up until the confetti-covered finale when she performed “Don’t Start Now.” Between the excited screams of fans, the flowing happy tears and the obvious adoration for Dua, it is safe to say those in attendance will never have a Valentine’s Day quite as fabulous as this one.
