NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The powerhouse branding company, Dead Horse Branding, has been recognized as one of Nashville’s top PR and marketing firms by Expertise.com. Over the last few years, Dead Horse Branding has been acclaimed for developing their publicity efforts via seven strategic branding formulas. These seven formulas give the Dead Horse Team a cutting edge and powerful PR positioning for not just A-list brands but their artist development roster as well. Trusted by iconic names like Bo Diddley, The HENDRIX Music Academy and Legendary Music Producer Tony Brown.
Dead Horse Branding was named by Expertise as a local expert in the competitive Nashville PR firm scene. Expertise analyzed the results based on five categories: availability, qualifications, reputation, experience, and professionalism. In over 200 industries, Expertise identifies and reviews the top service professionals throughout the country. Over 60,000 businesses are analyzed monthly to find the most qualified professionals for each customer’s needs. Dead Horse Branding services an incredible range of talent and business spanning across a multitude of industries proving that success is formula based and not genre based.
Established in 2015, CEO and Brand Manager Melissa Core-Caballo and Co-Founder and Art Director Rick Caballo have strategically built an innovative management and brand service company.
In the midst of the global Covid-19 pandemic, Melissa and Rick developed the “DH7 Brand Building Module” that Dead Horse implements on a daily basis with every client on their roster. Dead Horse Brandings “DH7 Brand Building Module” is now being implemented into the education system in the USA and Australia. The seven different modules are designed to educate the youth who are coming into the workforce and needing a real-life approach to their profession. The modules include: Consulting, Logo Design, Photography, Web Development, Marketing + Social Media, Publicity, and Licensing. This formula sets students up for ultimate success across all entertainment and business sectors before they graduate, seamlessly bridging the gap from the classroom to industry placement.
When asked what specific concept helped Dead Horse Branding not only survive the pandemic, but to have one of its most successful years, Melissa Core-Caballo stated that she believes it was the brand reputation and trust built off of previous years. “The beauty of our ‘hybrid-organization’ is that because we also do the seven formulas in-house, we can flip the switch, we can change direction, we are agile, and as CEO and co-founder of the company, I can see a hurdle and decide how to jump over it, or how to backtrack.”
Along with their award-winning team, they received this most recent Expertise addition to a series of accolades for their reputable business. Adding to their dynamic team, in December 2021, Dead Horse Branding integrated and appointed two new team members: Danielle Reiss as the Publicity and Brand Manager. Previously, Danielle worked as the Publicity Assistant for Dan Hodges Music and as a freelance Brand Manager and Entertainment Publicist. Brittany Hope Hambrick also joined the company as their Brand Manager and Business Development Coordinator. Previously, Brittany worked with two of the ‘Big Four’ Record Labels, Sony BMG and Universal Music Group, as Business Strategy + Operations Coordinator and Commercial Marketing Coordinator. Both hold a Master’s Degree in Music Business from Berklee College of Music and Belmont University.
Through a diverse team of eight, they created a new world of creative brand management by aligning all of their branding components. They deliver a 360-degree service for their roster of clients internationally, with headquarters in Nashville, TN, and Sydney, Australia. In recent years, Dead Horse Branding has also been recognized with over ten Graphic Design USA Awards including brand image builds, website + marketing launches, several IDA Gold Design Awards, and the NYC Big Book Award for the acclaimed book – Elvis, Strait, to Jesus, documenting the incredible life of iconic music producer, Tony Brown.
