Inspired by his own marriage, the Oklahoma native/Texas-based singer-songwriter teamed up with Casey Brown, Jacob Davis, and Travis Wood to shed light on the reality of making a relationship last and building a foundation that you can be proud of—one as solid as gold and as strong as steel, built to endure all things that comes its way.

“When the going gets tough / The shine might fade / The rain’s gon’ come / We’ll weather that storm / Whenever it does / This love don’t rust”

Red dirt troubadour Corey Kent reveals his steadfast commitment to love on the heart-filled rocker, “Rust.”

“In a world full of love songs that seem hard to relate to and too good to be true, I wanted to write one that felt real; perfectly imperfect. So, I wrote ‘Rust.’ Real love doesn’t quit when it gets hard. It endures. It keeps fighting. It weathers the storms. When the shine fades and the rust sets in, it should be a badge of honor… because the love endured and that’s a love story worth singing about,” says Kent.

Kent is showing no signs of slowing down as he is currently on the road supporting Parker McCollum’s BURN IT DOWN Tour, making stops in multiple cities across the U.S. For more information on the tour, please visit https://www.coreykentofficial.com/#tour.
