Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden have a new reason to celebrate! The couple surprised everyone with the news that they have welcomed their second child, a son named Cardinal.
In a heartwarming Instagram post, Diaz, 51, and Madden, 45, expressed their joy and gratitude for their new addition. While they won’t be sharing photos to protect their children’s privacy, they assured fans that Cardinal is “really cute” and that they are feeling “blessed and grateful.”
This isn’t the first surprise from the couple. In January 2020, they announced the arrival of their daughter, Raddix, also via surrogate. They have been married since 2015 and have been known to keep their family life private.
The news of Cardinal’s arrival comes as Diaz prepares to make a comeback in her acting career with the movie “Back in Action,” her first film since 2014’s “Annie.” Diaz has been candid about her experiences as a mother, praising Madden for being an amazing father and sharing the joys and challenges of parenting.
