Chart-topping Puerto Rican superstar Bad Bunny is leading this year’s Latin Grammy nominations with a whopping ten nods in seven categories including Album of the Year.
The singer’s “Un Verano Sin Ti‘ earned him nominations after it exploded onto the scene becoming the biggest LP of the year in the U.S. The album has also claimed the spot as longest-running No. 1 album in over 5 years.
The 23rd Annual Latin Grammy Awards are shaping up to be a star-studded event, showcasing the talent of Shakira, Christina Aguilera, Rauw Alejandro, Jorge Drexler and Rosalía, who also lead the pack of nominations.
In a statement, Manuel Abud, CEO of The Latin Recording Academy, said “At The Latin Recording Academy we continually strive to support and encourage Latin music creators, and these nominees epitomize musical excellence and represent the great momentum that our music is currently experiencing.
