Hazza, whose real name is Harry Harding, is a man of many talents. Not only is he an award-winning singer, he is also a television host, radio presenter, and media personality. Harry is a host at Guangdong Radio and Television where he anchors a daily news bulletin.
Hailing from Australia, Harding first traveled to China on a school trip in 2004 and it was then that he fell in love with the country and the culture. He says, “Chinese culture and language have always been a part of who I am, whether it be my interest in art, music, architecture, or food.”
After returning to Australia, he chose to major in linguistics at university and focused his studies on Mandarin Chinese. His love and passion for Chinese pop preceded his official move to the country so it was no surprise that he has made such a mark on the Chinese music industry.
“Singing in Chinese, for me, is fairly symbolic because I hope it manages to show my appreciation for the culture here…”

Harding won “Most Popular Internet Celebrity 2011” at the 56.com short film awards in Bejing then released his debut single “Let Go” in 2012. The track hit No.1 on the Guangzhou New Music Chart and stayed at the top ten for five straight weeks.
Hazza continued to release music and his single “I Was Wrong” peaked at No. 5 on a national music chart, syndicated across 40+ radio stations in mainland China, Hong Kong and Macao.
As his music success continues to climb, he has begun to list his music on platforms such as Apple Music and Spotify to share his songs with an international audience. Harry is currently working on a new single to be released later this year. “Most of my songs are fun,” said Hazza, “but they all have hidden messages. Perhaps I was too subtle, and I am the only one who can interpret them. But that is still fun anyway!”
