Beyond The Sun, the alt-rock, brother trio hailing from the Great White North, just dropped a personal love anthem “Rest of My Days,” a relatable offering delving into their own relationship stories while urging listeners to harken back to memories of their love.
Co-written with Nick Wheeler (of The All-American Rejects) and produced by drummer Dalton alongside contributions from Rob Laska (of Valley), Nick Wheeler, Graham Whitford (of Tyler Bryant & The Shakedown), the track begins with an ethereal swell that gently plucks the heartstrings of your own nostalgia. Boasting heartfelt lyrics of the track are framed by lush guitar-led soundscape and hazy, emotive vocals for an intimate feel. High and full vocals ride the almost orchestra sound of the band’s aggressive but sweet delivery.

“Rest of My Days is not your typical love song,” explains the trio. “Lyrically inspired by our guitarists’ relationship, it tells their story and his promise to be with her for the rest of his days. The song is one of the more personal ones we have released and hopefully telling such an intimate tale, listeners will be able to put their own relationships into the song.”
Made up of a trio of brothers Phil, Dalton, and Colin Radu, Beyond The Sun has grown from a passion project of three young boys in their parents’ living room into a much-loved act performing to sold-out crowds. This year they were selected to showcase at Canadian Music Week on June 11th and NXNE on June 17th, which is an industry conference and music festival held over ten days in Toronto, Ontario Canada.
This isn’t the first time Beyond The Sun has impressed reviewers. Past releases elicited these responses from Earmilk and Rolling Stone:
“shimmering guitars, and light melodies, they build into a sun-drenched chorus.“
–Earmilk
“dig into a quintessential indie rock sound“
-Rolling Stone
With over a decade of love for music and dedication to honing their craft, this rising act has built a strong identity and sound for themselves, this latest single providing a glimpse of future music to come as they throw themselves into working on the early stages of a brand new EP.
