At 16 years old, Washington D.C. artist, Cequan Peso is tackling big topics.
Bridge: What drives you to make music?
CP: “Music is like therapy to me. From living in the hood, being raised by a single mother, losing love ones to just having the ambition and drive to wake up everyday to be great! Having to mature at a young age motivates me.
I lost my older brother DayQuan Due to a drug overdose, that gives me more hope to persevere through life.”
